On March 13th, 2013, artist Sean Pace wheeled his modified motorcycle, reassembled with various other found parts, onto the Brickyard at NCSU as a special feature demonstration, part of the “Farfetched” show currently on display at the Gregg Museum of Art and Design at NC State. He loaded in the rubber chickens, cranked it up, and launched a hand full of chickens across the Brickyard. Each shot was quite a process: twisting cranks, jerking knobs, swinging the bike to the side. Seeing the chicken shooter in action and meeting the artist was a good lunchtime event.
