Derelict Buildings of the Hillsborough / Ashe / Morgan Area in Raleigh

"Forgive" us for tearing this down

Although most of these buildings have gone unused for many years, the historical patina along with the recent splashes of semi-artful graffiti have continued to make them eye-catching. Unfortunately, this might be the most interesting thing here for many years to come, as they are planned to be razed and replaced with mediocre infill development. I think all of these buildings could have been re-purposed and incorporated into a larger site plan with a mix of new buildings, additions, and some great outdoor spaces.

"Bourbon Street", most recently "Jackpot"
