I enjoy pizza. Making it, eating it. Trying different restaurants. I’ve been making pizza since I was a teenager, after trying a recipe from a National Geographic World magazine my grandmother gave me as a kid. Every year or so I either hit a wall or a milestone with my home-cooked pies. One of my recent inspirations was reading Jeff Varasano’s website where he chronicled his efforts to make the perfect pizza based on one of his favorite NYC pies. I’ve still got a long way to go before I consider my pizza perfect.
